"Breaking the cycle of poverty through education" is our goal.

This website was redeveloped following a change of platform by our previous supplier Easily without any migration facility. So we are sorry we can't reproduce the many diary entries charting the progress made. We have summarised the first 10 years and taken the opportunity to improve the information provided and the presentation.

We hope you will find it interesting and helpful

Karun Update August 2022

The school has now reopened and the children are gradually returning back.

  • Parents are very grateful for the food that is being provided for children.

  • The government will be looking at the staffing for the school against the pupil numbers in the next academic year.

  • The computers facility has been checked and overhauled where needed.

Our focus is constantly changing with the needs of the local community and pupils. The Trustees are looking for opportunities to provide more support to more pupils for further education ( See the News section for more information.)

The Trustees would like to thank everyone for their continued financial support during these changing times. Your support enables us to make a difference to the lives of children and young people at Karun.
